Refund policy

At Kent & Curwen, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind or receive an item that isn't quite right, we offer a straightforward returns process in line with UK consumer standards.

1. Return Window

  • Online Purchases: You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us that you wish to return your items, and a further 14 days from that notification date to return the items to us for a full refund.

  • In-Store Purchases: Items purchased in person at our store can be returned within 28 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, all returned items must meet the following criteria:

  • Items must be completely unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

  • All original designer tags, labels, and packaging must remain fully attached to the garment.

  • For hygiene reasons, certain items such as underwear, swimwear, and earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

  • A valid proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email, dispatch note, or store receipt) must be enclosed with the return.

3. How to Make a Return

By Post (Online Orders)

  1. Pack your items securely in their original packaging, ensuring the completed returns form is included inside the parcel.

  2. We recommend using a tracked delivery service with insurance (such as Royal Mail Signed For), as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Please note: Unless an item is faulty or wrongly described, the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

Return to Store (Free)

You can return any online or in-store purchase directly to our London flagship store free of charge. Simply bring your items and your proof of purchase to the counter, where our team will be happy to assist you.

4. Refunds Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email notification confirming receipt.

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment within 14 days of us receiving the goods.

  • Please note that your bank or credit card issuer may take an additional 3 to 5 working days to credit the funds to your account.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item you receive is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described, you have a legal right to a full refund.

  • Within 30 Days: If a fault is discovered within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.

  • After 30 Days: If a fault develops after the first 30 days, please contact us so we can arrange a repair or replacement.
